Merry Christmas

from China

overcast

Merry Christmas!! We hope everyone is having an awesome Christmas! Here it is nice :) Just hanginf out with friends and eating, here is a cute limmerick written by Javier for our Christmas here in China:

There was an old man in Guangzhou,

Who laughed with a Jolly "Ho ho,"

The locals mistrust him,

The Party arrests him.

But for being dressed in red- let him go.

Anyways here's pics!

And then! We have been spending all week at Gungzhou Live, a performance art festival that ended yesterday. We were helping some GAFA students interview some artists about their work and feelings about performance art. We have learned so much about performance art in this time! There were about 34 artists here at the festival, several performing each day. I have some photos from the performances we saw(most of them) So you guys can get an idea of what it was like. I will also try and upload sme video if possible.

November is Going Quick!

soon it will be December..

Well recently we have been running around and painting, all the same. We have encountered many obstacles in our quest to paint landscapes from life. Transporting stuff, dealing with the elements(always the mosquitoes :/) and making it back safely without ruining our paintings. It has been challenging, but we have been doing allright all things considered. :)
