Hey everyone! March is over now and April has started out very busy for us. We started a new class with Professor Xie, we are studying a photo realist approach to still-life painting. It takes a lot of patience.
Here is our professor showing us how to mix our own gesso and apply the ground evenly to the canvas.

We have also been busy preparing for a show we will have soon in the University Art Museum with our studio, Studio 1. This is Professor He taking photos of our paintings to put in the catalogue of the show.

So then we got a chance to explore Guangzhou a little bit with Yu Ji, we went to eat and hang out and draw, it was fun.
